Mico’s journey to law is shaped by his diverse passions, with music being his first love. A founding member and former lead guitarist of the band Lola Amour, he also served as President of Forte, the Ateneo Law Music Ensemble, from 2020 to 2024. While Mico chose not to pursue music professionally, his passion for blues music remains a big part of his life. His guitar style is heavily influenced by legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Mayer, blending soulful blues with creative expression.
Mico graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines School of Economics in 2019 and earned his Juris Doctor from the Ateneo Law School in 2024. Outside of law, he enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, DJing, performing magic tricks, and always seeking new challenges. Mico also values work-life balance and makes it a point to spend quality time with family and friends, believing that these moments help recharge his creativity and drive. He believes that pursuing your passions—whether in music, law, or personal connections—leads to unexpected and rewarding paths in life.
