Born in 1995 in Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte, Karol Grace G. Oroceo graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Advertising Arts from the University of San Carlos in Cebu. Later, she earned her law degree from the same university in 2020, receiving recognition for her thesis titled “Comparative Analysis of the Legal Treatment of AI-Generated Literary, Scientific, and Artistic Works: A Basis for Policy Recommendation,” for which she won the First Best Thesis Award.
During her time at the University of San Carlos, Karol was deeply involved in student governance, serving as an Election Commissioner of the USC Law Commission on Elections. Additionally, she played a vital role in the USC Bar Operations, where she served as the Co-Head of the Ways and Means Committee, contributing to marketing initiatives and the development of bar review materials.
Karol gained practical experience through internships at the Office of the Solicitor General and as a Legal Researcher at the Supreme Court of the Philippines. In 2022, she joined Fortun Narvasa and Salazar, where she handles corporate law matters, administrative, criminal, and civil cases. Additionally, Karol has experience in taxation law and special projects, showcasing her versatility and commitment to her legal career.
